Shelby Pride is a grassroots nonprofit founded in 2016 for queer folks and their allies.
Mission Statement: The Shelby Pride Chapter of Shelby, NC, fosters a spirit of community, inclusivity, and safety for its members throughout Cleveland County and neighboring areas. All are welcome - allies and members of the LGBTQIA+ community alike - to participate and join in our chapter meetings and events. We center and educate community members on the rich and diverse history, needs, and makeup of the LGBTQIA+ community.
